The Chicco brand was founded in 1958 by Pietro Catelli after the birth of his son Enrico, whose nickname was Chicco. The aim was to create a brand specialising in baby products and Pietro was inspired by the experience he had with his son to realise what products were missing from the market and thus be able to help other parents.

The brand grew, gained notoriety and became a pioneer and leader in the childcare market worldwide. It was Chicco that
