Calzedonia was founded in 1987 in Verona, Italy, with the aim to create a new way to sell hosiery and swimwear for women, men and children. On the market for nearly thirty years now, Calzedonia is present in over 25 countries among which Portugal, England, Germany, France, Belgium and many others.

Intimissimi was founded some years later, in 1996, with a special focus on the manufacture and marketing of underwear in particular women's lingerie. The brand offers quality products to all women, but also dreams and emotions. In 2014, a new line was launched, the Intimissi Uomo, a men's line.
